清优父亲过世后被大伯夏英泰从云南接回上海，与大伯一家四口挤在狭小的老房子里。大伯母和堂妹珊珊对家里突然多出的不速之客清优很看不顺眼，而堂哥继栋却对清优百般照顾，冷落了自己的妹妹，因此家中时有摩擦。第一天上学，清优因跳错车而结识了同班同学佑和。没过多长时间，老师和同学就觉察出二人关系微妙。老师遂请家长到学校，清优大伯在学校见到佑和母亲后不禁大吃一惊，原来佑和的母亲竟然是自己十六年前在云南插队落户时的前女友，而佑和正是自己的亲生儿子。从此，清优与其哥哥、哥哥的朋友之间的情感悲喜剧便拉开了帷幕。。MST3K fodder.
