该剧改编自三浦紫苑的小说《编舟记》。故事由杂志编辑岸边绿担任的人气时尚杂志惨遭废刊，本人被调动至辞典编辑部展开。池田饰演的是逐渐找到制作辞典的自豪感和价值的岸边，野田饰演的是无比热爱书、做事认真的辞典编辑部主任马缔光也。原作是以马缔为主人公，本剧将以岸边的视角描绘编辑部员们编纂辞典《大渡海》的奋斗。。A film director gathers his favorite actresses, those he worked with and those he loved. He wants to make a film about women but he doesn’t reveal much: he observes them, takes cue, until his imaginary throw them into another era, in a past where the noise of the sewing machines fills a workplace handled and populated by women, where men have minor and marginal roles and cinema...。故事描述在五丈原之战中病死的诸葛孔明，以年轻之姿转生到正在举办万圣节游行的现代日本东京都涉谷，并因此与创作歌手月见英子相遇，于是为了帮助英子实现她的梦想，孔明发挥他的军事长才，以英子的军师身份活跃的故事。。
