当一种致命的传染病在亚特兰大爆发时，大范围的城区很快被隔离，隔离区里的人只能靠自己活下去。其中一对相爱的人被戏剧性的分开，由此反映出隔离区里的社会百态，以及人性的变化和伪英雄的出现。。A pilots pregnant wife is killed by a band of thugs who break into their home. The gang is caught and sent off to prison.
