一个陷入家庭危机的大妈在几个麻将高手的帮助下，一起组团参加竞技麻将的故事。。某工厂发生火灾，库房里大量工业原料发生爆炸，产生的有毒气体随时威胁着救援人员的生命。某医科大学附属医院急诊部医生冉怀舟带着救护车严阵以待，随时准备抢救伤员。即将分配到急诊部的医生苏虹带着邻居独自在家的孩子到急诊部就诊，正好赶上忙乱的急救场面。消防队李参谋被送进抢救室，冉怀舟正准备实施手术，突然接到命令，三号高速路发生重大车祸，必须马上出急诊。苏虹参加了抢救伤员的行动。。"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。
