本片由三个不同年龄层的爱情故事组成，分别讲述了三个外国人和一个希腊家庭两代人之间的爱情故事。每一个故事代表了一代人对于爱情的认识与看法，故事之间分别独立存在，通过整个欧洲的经济危机串联起来，最终三个故事变成了一个故事。 Sebastian是一个65岁的德国老头，在希腊雅典的超市门口遇见了一位遭受经济危机的55岁已婚妇人Maria，两人由一开始的互相抱怨到最后相爱相知只花了短短几周时间，但是彼此已经刻骨铭心，这段爱情注定只能在阴暗中生根发芽。。"Can't we all just live together?"
