森のはずれにある古くなった工場で、“くま工場長”にさそわれ、 おもちゃ作りをはじめたすみっコたち。みんながとくいなことを活かして、 上手にぬいぐるみを完成させる。くま工場長にほめられてやる気まんまんになった すみっコたちは、おそろいの制服やおいしいごはん、 すみこみの部屋を用意してもらい、次から次へとおもちゃを作る日々に。 そんな中、すみっコたちの町に出荷されていったおもちゃが、 あちこちで動きはじめる。この工場には、 なんだか“ふしぎ”なところがあって・・・？。Wassup Rockers is about a group of Salvadoran and Guatemalan teenagers in South Central Los Angeles who, instead of conforming to the hip hop culture of their gang infested neighborhood, wear tight pants, listen to punk rock,and ride skateboards.
