刚从师范大学毕业的年轻教师林冬青，到铭师小学担任五(4)班的班主任。校长向林冬青介绍五(4)班级的情况时，特别提到这个班的问题生相对集中，让他多加注意。可初出茅庐的林冬青却不以为意，他对即将面临的挑战满怀斗志，准备大展身手。然而，班里状况百出的问题生们，却让林冬青屡屡受挫，他不得不开始反思。在负责学生心理辅导的丁老师的协助下，林冬青在尊重和爱护学生的基础上，针对每个学生的特点，因材施教，渐渐与孩子们打成一片，最终赢得了孩子们的爱戴。与此同时，他也与孩子们一起成长了。。The film tells the story of the Jews of Bardejov in Slovakia, who were almost completely wiped out during the Holocaust. Fish, who was 9 years old when a Gestapo officer found him and his family hiding and sent them to a concentration camp to suffer the same fate as their many friends and relatives.
