跨年夜去跑趴的路上，兩位陌生人被困在同台電梯裡，卻也發現彼此有著意外的共通點。。建筑师陶花珲（李镇洲）一向畏妻如虎，在家中毫无地位，连妹仔怀春（孙惠芳）都看不起他。陶满腔委屈，无处出气，常常发泄于好友戴（龚国强）身上。与此同时，陶亦对戴妻洁贞（苏玉华）心存非分之想。洁贞亦觉得戴不解温柔，常与戴发生拗撬。陶更乘虚而入，竟引诱贞到澳门“嬉春酒店"偷情。戴为了视察一所闹鬼的澳门酒店与及送其侄梦星到省城入学，更向陶借妹仔怀春作梦星的仆人。而原来闹鬼的酒店竟然是嬉春酒店，于是他们几人又先后入住了“嬉春酒店"，加上酒店闹鬼，香港扫黄组来澳门扫荡，阴差阳错之下促使笑料连珠炮发，令人捧腹大笑之余，结局更出人意表。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
