The film will concentrate on key aggregation points around the world: Mexico, South Africa...。一名没带伞的女子在下雨天回家时，在路边的一个盒子里发现了一只自称是狗的狸猫，还翻出写有“我很好养”的标语。尽管不能确定物种，但无碍其身上发出的既可爱又多才多艺特质。不幸的是，女子没有时间养宠物，正当她要离开之际，“狗”递给女子一把折伞。最终该女子开口说道：“要来我家吗？”从此一日一“狗”的故事正式展开。。
