《人面鱼：红衣小女孩外传》改编自台湾乡野传说“人面鱼“，1990年代有人在高雄县冈山镇（今高雄市冈山区）出游钓起一尾吴郭鱼（罗非鱼），烧烤食用时却听到诡异的声音询问：“鱼肉好吃否？”之后其拍摄的照片鱼的上头还浮现人脸，令当事人毛骨悚然，不过事件本身有诸多疑点被认为是无根据的谣传。。原本对生活怀有希望的吴子晗，在遭遇命运不公后彻底发生转变，他的身影渐渐消失在那栋阴森恐怖的房子里，黑暗深处他始终被恶魔缠身，周而复始要寻找一个可以附身的躯体，摆脱恶魔，但远远没有那么简单……。Jan Sienkiewicz, a writer and lecturer who was expelled from university, takes a job at a Warsaw high school.
